After spending 3 months in Asia, it was very pleasant to return to Europe. The monsoon season was just beginning there, while here the December holiday season was starting. 

I literally appreciated everything around me when I arrived back: drinking water straight from the tap, proper heating, comfort, bread, milk, delicious food, and having a whole closet of clothes instead of just a suitcase. I truly believe Europe is the best place on Earth to live! It’s safe, clean, the distances are small, and the quality of life is incredibly high. We should appreciate what we have so much more – especially compared to other parts of the world. To learn to look at it through different lenses.

Already when I was in Nepal I knew that my next stop should be the Canary Islands in the European winter time. I was longing for the European culture and comfort, and wanted to enjoy it a bit longer. Also, for some reason I feel attracted to islands 🙂 Especially with volcanic background! So here my journey continues.
